Underwhelming Stay. Room and Service Issues

outdated roomruined jeans
The room itself felt quite outdated. The bed was on wheels and moved around easily, made changing a newborn's diaper difficult. The mattress was old with noisy springs and caused back pain. It disrupted sleep. At dinner, I had to ask the waiter multiple times for missing items, but some never arrived. The color from the bistro cushions transferred onto my jeans, ruining them.

Excellent Stay Near Historical Sites

convenient locationwalk-in showerslow service
The location was convenient. I walked to the old jail across the street (it was quite moving). The hotel also provided convenient access to a hop-on-hop-off bus tour, simplifying sightseeing. The pool had a comfortable depth. I liked that the room included a bath and a walk-in shower.
I found it challenging to book dinner. A staff member seemed a bit impolite when I asked for a reservation (perhaps they were busy). The service was generally slow, and it was difficult to get the staff's attention.
